look at all those teeth! She fell down and hit her mouth and the top muddle right tooth actually cut through her gums. She was upset but surprisingly she bounced back pretty quickly. Its amazing what sucking on a cold towel and cuddling with mommy can fix.

Shes trying to walk more and more lately, its usually a step or two then fall down.

she gets so excited when she walks.

And she loves to hold our hands and walk around the room.

So Tabitha has a new obsession. Its totally my fault as I thought it was so stinking cute to put her in boxes when she was small. Right now we are preparing to move into another room here, and I'm trying to box up Tabitha's clothes, I have a box of clothes thats too small and one thats to big. the boxes are at the end of the bed, and Tabitha decided they are there for her to play in. She woke up from her nap and crawled over to the box and crawled right in. She proceeded to bury herself in the clothes and then she bounced up and started laughing. Then she reached over and started pulling the clothes on the rack behind her over to her, and then pulled them into the box.

She was very proud of herself. She's getting more adventurous and more curious all the time. Although she seems to have no concept of how far something is. She crawled to the edge of the bed, sat on her butt and put one foot over, just like going down the stairs, luckily i figured out what she was doing and caught her, but that could have been bad.

So for a while before Garrick moved out, I had to have my sewing desk in our room. Which pretty much sucked. This room has a lot of furniture that is really big, plus we aren't allowed to use the closet because it has spare computer parts in it. So needless to say its a little cramped especially with 3 people and all our clothes and other things. So once Garrick moved out I got to move my sewing desk to the game room and it freed up some space in our room. Well from time to time I find things in our room that should have gone in the sewing area. Like this fabric Tabitha has wrapped around her. When she found it, it had pins holding down the sides, I had planned on turning in the edges and sewing them to use for a ruffled onesie, but I never got to it. So very quickly i found myself pulling pins out as she was trying to tear it out of my hands. I got almost all of them before she pulled it away from me, and the one i didn't get i got before she could. She then proceed to wrap the fabric around her like a scarf or a shawl, and make cute faces at me. She's such a ham!

Project 365 day 34

Tabitha's day:
We went to Jamba Juice to see Lynn and Karen and enjoy some $1 oatmeal, it was fun and yummy. not normally an oatmeal fan but it was Good!
Tabitha fell asleep in the car and i really didn't want to wake her, so i decided to drive to gilroy because there was a furniture store going out of buisness that I wanted to check out, we still need a chnaging tablem although at this point i think a dresser with a changing pad might be more practical. well, when they said going out of buisness they meant it, it was gone. So I figgured, I was in gilroy might as well go to some stores in Gilroy. I drove to the Target/ Ross, BB&B shopping center and by then Tabitha had woken up. We went to BB&B and didn't really find anything. I got some wonderful sheets there once and I was looking for some more, but they didn't have the same ones and the comparable ones were too expensive. Then we went to Ross, and got some awesome deals! I got a pack of matalic 12 x 12 paper that I'm going to use for decorations for her birthday party for only $3! originally $20! Wowza! Then I got a cupcake book and a craft book each $4.99 orriginally $15.99 and $9.99 respectively. But the big steal of the day was a pair of maryjane robeez for $9.99! They have them online for $32! they are super cute too! they are a light green with pick roses on them. I was excited because I like to have one size up in shoes for her incase she grows out of her shoes on a sunday, so I found these in a size 4, she's kind of in between 2 and 3 right now so it will be a while before she needs them but its nice to have them before I need them. After Ross we went to Target, and I got some little mini cookbooks in the $1 section and a copy of Bride Wars for $5! I love that movie! and for $5 can't go wrong! I got tabitha a sandwich at the little target cafe, usually they are pretty good, but for some reason she kept spitting out the turkey, she liked the bread but she didn't want anything to do with the turkey or the cheese, i took a bite of it when we got in the car and understood, it was so salty and the cheese was just gross. I felt bad that she had been cooped up in a cart or the car all day so since we were in Gilroy we went to the only park I knew where it was.


El roblos Park. I'd never been there, but i'd driven past it and our friends Rory, Jess and Sadie live right behind the park.



She really did have fun on the swings. She was actually intently watching a little girl and her uncle play on the play structure next to us.
I just love her little smile! its so cute and so unique!

And finally, I really had to refrain from buying this. It sings the ABCs and 123s. It looks like the Bloodhoud Gang had a baby!

This was the first time I got Tabitha's hair up in one pony tail, it was so cute she had pebbles hair! I so think we are going as the Flintstones this year because she would be such a cute pebbles!

Tabitha sunday morning, she's not a big fan of sunday mornings. Sunday mornigns mean waking up at 8 instead of 9:30, and as you can see she likes her sleep!
After nap time. She's wearing a dress i made for Vivian before she was born. She looked so cute in the dress. These were some of the first baby clothes i made, and the dresses came out pretty well, although i'm going to replace the zipper on one of them, but the diaper covers were awful! the legs were to tight, and the binding not on correctly, i think i'm going to make all new diaper covers for them. I have some of the material i used and for the ones i don't i can use a plane color for them.

so i totally remembered to take a picture, but i haven't uploaded them yet, i'll get to it, maybe tomorrow, or tonight if tabitha doesn't wake up screaming again. oh how i love teething. not.

Tabitha's new favorite game is where's Tabitha? She pulls blankets over her head so we'll look for her and she hides in cupboards, Although its a good thing she has no clue on how to be sneaky yet, she makes a lot of noise getting in so its usually pretty easy to find her if she takes off quickly.
My back has been really bad lately so getting up and running after her is not always an option, but for the most part she comes back when i tell her to, or at least slows down and gives me a chance to get up so i can catch her.

I just love this picture! We were taking pictures of Tabitha to enter into the Regis and Kelly beautiful baby contest and this is one of the ones we got during that little impromptu shoot.



this video is from the same night, She just loves to get into anything she can, and some of her new favorite places to explore are granny's work room and the library. That night she figured out how to turn on the computer in the library, then she turned it off, and on, and off and on. I'm pretty sure the computer was not happy in the morning.

Project 365 day 26

So Tabitha got to try something new, we had to go to the store and to Joann's and when we went it was nice out but when we came out it was pouring, and of course, I had parked far away because there were no close parking spaces, and we were both just wearing thin sweaters, becasue it had been sunny. So I walked us over to Panda Express and got some lunch, (it was the only place to go under the awning from Joann's). Tabitha is still giving me grief when i try to feed her, so i put some on a plate for her and let her feed herself. She loved the cooked carrots, celery, and broccoli, She also liked the mushroom chicken (i didn't give her any mushrooms though), and the white rice. She loved the piece of fortune cookie I gave her as well.




Later that evening after we got home, she found Dawn's scarf, and it has become one of her favorite toys, she caries it around with her everywhere and puts it on herself or me. She's really starting to develop a strong personality and its so interesting to get to know her.

better late than never!
So here's our little walker! She's getting so good at walking, she still prefers crawling, its faster, but she tries really hard to walk a lot. this was her after she tried to walk over to granny and see the kitty, however the kitty was scared because uncle trent decided it would be a good idea to turn on the dog wisperer when the cat was in the house, needless to say the cat was a little freaked by the very loud barking pit bull on tv. Tabitha was very interested in the dog on tv, and seemed to have forgotten all about the kitty.

Ah the awesome bed head! She really doesn't like early church, we forced her to get up at 8:20 this morning, and she was not amused.

The clothes hoarder
Tabitha managed to pull any clothes she could reach from the bed out of boxes and hampers and put them all around her, then she started piling them up on her and laughing hysterically. It was so funny!
She's getting the top 4 teeth right now, the outside two broke through about a week ago and they are slowly making there way down, the top right tooth broke through on Friday morning, and the top left tooth is starting to show through. She's going through these terrible mood swings because of it, and all she wants is mommy to hold her, which i think is a little hard on morgen, he wants to hold her and comfort her, and she hits him and cries and holds out her arms for me. Hopefully her mouth will stop hurting soon and she'll be back to her super happy self, who loves her dada very much. She's getting really good at saying mama and dada, although she points to my chest licks her lips and says mama now. well at least she's not only saying it when she's crying now.

Project 365 day 23

So Saturday was not a good day for us. Somehow morgen forgot to submit his SJSU application, even though it was finished, and now he has yet again missed the deadline to apply. So he spent Saturday scrambling to find a way to go to school in the fall since he has taken way to many units at the JC and really can't take anything else. He has to do a petition to BYUI and He's waiting to hear back from BYU, he is also looking at spring for UC Santa Cruz, and if SJSU offers any spring admittance, which isn't likely since they didn't this year due to budget cuts, he'll apply there. So needless to say there was some major stress around the house that day. Late in the afternoon, I took Morgen over to get his hair cut. I was tired of him looking like a chick, and they did a good job. I forgot to take any pictures on Saturday, which is weird because I take pictures everyday. But While I was uploading the pictures I took friday and today, I found some super cute pictures of Tabitha from June. I haden't gotten them off my camera since my battery was dead and I couldn't find the cord, so I'll share with you some cute old school Tabitha. =)

project 365 day 22

I had to take moregn to work on friday and Tabitha was still asleep. Morgen's mom said she would watch her and when i got home Tabitha had woken up and dawn was making her some oatmeal. but tabitha has only had baby oatmeal, and she did not like it, dawn tried to mix it with prunes which tabitha loves but she was not having it.
This was Tabitha looking at me like what have i done to deserve this? Needless to say dawn was eating some oatmeal for breakfast that morning. Its not all that surprising, Tabitha's tastes have seemed to mirror Morgen and mine. I was eating some spicy pretzle thins and she kept trying to take it, so i figured I would let her taste it, and she would end up not liking it because its spicy, well no, she licked it, then licked it again, then shoved it in her mouth and grabbed for another one. As for the oatmeal, neather morgen nor I like oatmeal unless its in a cookie! =) (which by the way she likes too, Morgen was eating an oatmeal raisin cookie, and she threw a little fit till he gave her some, she loved it.)

Tabitha is growing up so fast, she really gets annoyed if I try to feed her baby food anymore, she wants to feed herself everything these days.
