Tahoe Here we COME!!

SO Excited! Tomorrow we are leaving for Tahoe! I Love TAHOE! I love the Fireworks for 4th of July, I love sitting on the beach watching Tabitha and her cousin Vivian play, I love the BBQs, the craft fairs, the hanging out by the pool at the cabin. Its seriously my favorite time of year! I Love that my Awesome niece Vivian's birthday is the day before mine and when we were kids we celebrated my birthday over 4th of July at Tahoe and now we get to celebrate her birthday over 4th of July at Tahoe. I'm excited to make Viv's cupcakes for her birthday party and I'm even more excited to give her the awesome birthday present i've been working on for her! Its taken all my time this week but I'm so in love with it! But I can't tell you what it is yet (haha ) I'll definitely post pictures when we get back from Tahoe!
Seriously I love Tahoe so much that I hope to own a home there someday. Right on the beach! It would be pure heaven!

Tabitha's favorite spot, the pools of warm stagnant water that form after the tide goes out. She loved laying in there playing in the puddles!

In other news, I can't believe I'm officially 30 29+ today! Yes thats right today is the first anniversary of my 29th birthday! I seriously had a whole month where I thought I was turning 29 again, ah wishful thinking!
I'll be spending my day, sewing, packing, doing laundry and cleaning out the car, but we are going to the BYUI Brazilian association's BBQ tonight which sounds fun, and we'll probably go to coldstone to use my free birthday coupon. ( and really anyone who wants to give me something free just for being born is pretty swell in my book )

Big News!

Hey everyone! Have I got AWESOME news for you all! I've been chosen to Compete on One Month to Win it for Season 5!  They just put up who is competing in this season, and season 5 starts tomorrow! I'm so excited! I finished my project last night and can't wait for everyone to see it! I'm starting on next weeks challenge today and I'm super excited about that one too! SO SORRY!

O SO I know I said I was going to do a post about Morgen's Fathers day present on Saturday, and I didn't do it. I actually did the craft and morgen took the pictures, but I was so sick saturday night that I didn't post.
Ok so now for the reason i've been kind of a flake lately.....

Well.... We're having another baby! yay! we are super excited, but i've been super sick lately so my posting might be a little erratic at best, and we are going out of town for the first week of July.

So For Fathers day I made Morgen a DIY Edible Arrangements bouquet. I make him one every year for Valentines, Fathers Day and his Birthday. I'll be posting instructions and what you need for it this week.

This week I have to get Tabitha's 4th of July outfit done and then I need to get my niece's Birthday present done.

I have some other awesome things in the pipeline and a really cool announcement in a few days!

Hey So I totally just realized that I have a ton of new followers! So hello to all you awesome people!! Sorry I've still been a little MIA lately. Tabitha has been a PIMA lately and i've been so sick. I have a ton (seriously!) of projects to get to, I plan on making some time on friday and Saturday.

Also I have a super fun kind of last minute Fathers Day project I'm gonna share with you on Saturday. (Oh I know the suspense is killing you right? )

Sorry I've been MIA the last week, I've been sick, and I've been trying to get things ready to go for my shop. As long as the weather cooperates tomorrow, I'll be adding a bunch of stuff to my Etsy shop tomorrow. I'll be adding a few hair bows, some shirts for boys and for girls, a 24 Month Wonderland Dress, The 12 month Good Morning GoodNight Dress and a few other goodies. If anyone is looking for something in particular or in a different size please let me know.

Well it looks like we made it through that last bought of the flu, but we've still been stuck inside a lot because of rain, and hail, and even some snow. Yes snow. I so miss California, although I hear they are having a ton of bad weather too, so its not too bad. We've been having about 3 days of pouring rain and then 2 days of some sun. The last two days have been lovely. It inspired me to sew something nice and summery for Tabitha. I absolutely love rompers, they are just so darn cute, and Tabitha likes to wear them too so thats a plus! (Morgen hates them because he says they are hard to change her diaper, but I don't care because she will be out of diapers next summer and won't be able to wear them since they are too hard to get off when your still learning to use the potty). I had this super cute yellow plaid that I found in the remnant bin at walmart. It only cost $1.20 for 1 yard. And 1 yard was perfect. I have enough left to make some little hair bows for Tabitha to go with it. Now to the cuteness.

The shorts are made from a panty pattern that I lengthened a little and didn't put the elastic in the legs. The top pattern I made. The top is a little big so I'll make the next one a little smaller and the neck a little lower. The buttons were from a button bag I got at Michael Levine in LA for $2.00 (the bag like 60 buttons in it). This outfit cost less than $2.00 total to make too! 

I made these shorts using the same panties pattern and instead of putting elastic all the way around I did pin tucks along the front and put elastic in the back. I had this left over from fabric I used for a Sorority Sweatshirt in college. 

I made this 0-3 month dress for my Etsy shop. I just recently learned to shirr fabric and I love the effect. 

I like the stars, I did them a little wonky on purpose. All stars are different so I like that they are all a little different from each other. 

I love the polka dot fabric for the skirt. I took apart a dress I had made for my self but never wore and used some of the fabric for this and a skort for Tabitha that I haven't hemmed yet so I need to do that then I'll post pictures.
