Mother's Day cloth Diaper hop: Sponsor Spotlight Baby Babu

From May 1-12, 2012 I'll be participating in the Daily Mothering Mothers day blog hop. Daily Mothering will be having a huge grand prize package of Awesome cloth diapers and other great things!

As the giveaway gets closer I'll have more information about the grand prize. There are 100 different blogs participating! So many awesome possibilities to win cloth diapers!

I was given the opportunity to review Baby Babu, and I am very impressed. For such a new company they are very on the ball, and a real pleasure to work with.

Baby Babu is one of the newest names in the cloth diaper world. Baby Babu was founded in Florida by the parents of twin boys who wanted to provide high quality, sustainable and affordable diapering solutions and related products to parents worldwide. Baby Babu sells biodegradable disposable diapers, one size diaper clovers, one size pocket diapers and inserts. They were nice enough to send me a very cute bright pink pocket diaper to try out on Eva as well as a matching wet bag.

I was given the opportunity to try Baby Babu diaper and a Baby Babu wetbag has been really cool and will be giving one diaper and one wet bag to the winner of my giveaway from May 1st -12th. They have also offered to give one diaper a month to one of my awesome readers! How cool is that!

I really like this wet bag, so far I had only tried out zippered wetbags, this is a drawstring wet bag, but it stood up to a nasty stink from Eva so it gets my two thumbs up!

The wet bags are $7.99 which is a really good price for a wetbag considering I paid $15 for my other medium sized wet bag that i carry in my diaper bag. The wetbag is made of PUL just like the outside of the diapers. Its a single layer of PUL and has a toggle to keep the draw string closed.

The diaper I was sent was the Fuscia one size pocket diaper. It has three rows of rise snaps and three across for rise setting as well. The diaper has a double gusset, which has to be my favorite part of any diaper, the double gusset holds in all the Eva can dish out.

The diaper has two waist snaps and one hip snap to make sure you don't get wing droop. It has an opening at both ends and a snap in insert. I love the elastic in the waist band. Some of Eva's diapers just aren't as tight around her back as I'd like because there is too much fluff and not a tight enough elastic, but the baby babu fits just right. I tried out their claim that because of the double openings you could just unsnap the insert and it would agitate out in the wash and it really worked.

At 12.5 lbs Eva wears the diaper on the smallest rise setting and the second from the middle waist setting. I have no problem believing this diaper would fit a 7 or 8 lb baby since Eva could probably comfortable move up a waist size and still have it be comfortable and a good fit.

The pocket diapers range in price from $11.99 to $14.00 and the covers are $10.99. Baby Babu has a great bulk deal as well. For $150 you get 15 gender specific cloth diapers and 15 microfiber inserts. They pack a random selection of gender neutral and gender specific diapers and send them to you, you just need to mention boy or girl in the comments section.

If you'd like to buy some Baby Babu diapers visit their website, or their Facebook.
And make sure you come back tomorrow to enter the Mothers day Cloth diaper giveaway where one lucky Crafting in My Closet Reader will win a prize package valued at $103 which includes a baby babu diaper and wet bag.

I was provided a baby babu cloth diaper and wet bag for the purpose of this review. All views are my own.

Diapers are the basic need of every baby and if they are not made of good quality then they can harm your baby in many ways.So my suggestion is that you should use only those diapers which are best in the opinion of experts.

I know it's silly, but I think that hip snap that keeps the wing from drooping might be my favorite part of this diaper!
